 More and more women and men are turning to injectionables to reduce the signs of aging, and to rid themselves of unsightly facial wrinkles. According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), Botox injections are the fastest-growing non-surgical cosmetic procedure in the industry. More than 1.6 million people received injections in 2001, an increase of 46 percent over the previous year.
